Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026
Stedley is currently operated by Jeremy, an individual based in Indiana, United States. The operator information may be updated if Stedley is transferred to a business entity before commercial launch. This policy explains what information Stedley collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Beta access requests
When you request beta access through this marketing website, Stedley collects:
- your name
- your email address
- your trade or type of work
Stedley account and app information
When you create and use a Stedley account, the app may store information you enter to operate your trade or service business, such as:
- account and company details
- client and job information
- estimates and invoices
- schedules and time records
- job photos and receipts
- expenses and business records
- team or subcontractor information
These are typical categories rather than a complete list of every field.
2. How information is used
Stedley may use this information to:
- review and respond to beta requests
- invite people to test Stedley
- provide and maintain Stedley accounts
- support core app workflows
- communicate about beta access, service updates, or support
- protect the service and investigate misuse
- improve Stedley based on feedback and usage problems
Stedley does not currently sell personal information or use it for third-party behavioral advertising.
3. Service providers
Stedley relies on a small number of service providers:
- Formspree processes beta-form submissions from this marketing website and delivers them to the configured Stedley account email.
- Vercel hosts this marketing website and may process ordinary technical request information in server or platform logs.
- Supabase provides authentication, database, and storage services for the Stedley app.
Each provider handles information under its own privacy policy.
4. Data retention
- Beta-request information may be kept for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, and may be deleted sooner if you request deletion.
- If you become an active Stedley user, the separate beta request does not need to be retained indefinitely.
- Active account and app information is generally retained while the account remains active or as needed to provide the service.
- Some information may be retained longer where reasonably necessary for security, legal obligations, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or backups.
Retention practices may be refined before commercial launch.
5. Beta accounts and launch
The current intention is for beta users to keep the same Stedley account and credentials at launch, and for their app records to remain available rather than being intentionally reset. Because Stedley is in beta, changes, migrations, or corrective maintenance may sometimes be necessary. Please maintain your own copies of records that are critical to your business during the beta.
6. Cookies and analytics
This marketing website does not currently use Stedley-controlled analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing cookies. Hosting and service providers may use essential technical mechanisms or logs needed to operate and secure their services. If analytics or additional tracking is introduced later, this policy will be updated first.
7. Security
Stedley uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the current beta. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please protect your password and report any suspected account problems.
8. Your choices and requests
You can contact Stedley to:
- ask what beta-request information is held about you
- correct your contact details
- withdraw a beta request
- request deletion of your beta-request information
- ask about account or app-data deletion
Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary or legally required.
9. Children
Stedley is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. Stedley does not knowingly seek beta requests from children under 13. If you believe a child's information may have been submitted, please contact Stedley so it can be removed.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as Stedley develops, forms a business entity, adds providers, or approaches commercial launch. The date at the top of this page will be changed when material revisions are published.
